File locations for a Fastpage site

When you create a fastpage template and upload the templates, these are stored in the templates folder.
When the web page is generated this is relative to the 'fastpage' folder.
When you create template files these must be relative to the 'fastpage' folder for the correct paths to work.
We suggest you create a folder on your own local computer with the site root as fastpage and generate the templates from this folder.

Create your site structure similar to the structure on the left.
The only folder you will need off the site root 'Fastpage' are images and graphics to store images which are not uploaded by Fastpage.
Note: file and images uploaded to a Line server using Fastpage inherit the identity of belong to a group and user called 'nobody'.
If you attempt to upload the images using FTP the file user and group will be different. If you then attempt to change the template or image by using Fastpage the upload will be denied as you do not have the correct permissions.
This is the reason why we recommend you upload images hard coded into the templates in a folder called 'Graphics'

The Linux permission set in images and templates folder is 777
