Parsing Templates
When you unload a template you will be asked to PARSE the template. Parsing the template is to automatically locate all the entities on the template and enter the entities into a database.
(Note Entities will be covered further on)
| |
- When a template has been parsed you then select the entities you want to add.
- If you select the check box to automatically determine the entity names this will remove the underscores in the entity name and assign an entity name automatically.
Example {menu_heading_name} will become menu heading name You should be careful how you name your entities to take advantage of this feature as this will save you al lot of time establishing entity names for the database. - At any time you can upload a template and re-parse the template if you have added any new entities.
- You can select modify templates and re parse the template to modify or delete existing entities
- When you parse a template any reserved global entities entities prefixed with link or global are identified and added automatically.
- Global entities are assigned an entity type - Standard body text
- Duplicate entities are also checked and a warning message is displayed if these are found.
