Linking to a Fastpage template the reference string is fpengine.php/templateid/xxx Example: /lt;a href/"http://www.fastpagecms.com/fastpage/fpengine.php/templateid/xxx">Text</a> or if you are link from a frame <a href="http://www.fastpagecms.com/fastpage/fpengine.php/templateid/xxx" target="FrameName">text</a>
When your create a fastpage site, you often create links for templates that exist on your local hard disk drive, but haven't been uploaded.
Example:- You have links on a menu bar on your main index page, but the template pages the links reference have not been uploaded.
Solution One - Managed Links One solution is to use 'Managed Links' which allows you to include a placeholder by using a special entity type called links_xxxxx. Once all the templates have been uploaded you can use managed links to resolve the links.
